Fanfiction Contest – iPad/Kindle Prizes

Zaimi Tutoring is hosting a contest among the students we tutor. Due to the success of what we call our Fanfiction Contest, we have continued the tradition and organize one each and every year.

 So how does it work?

Many of you may be familiar with what has become a popular trend among aspiring writers: fanfiction. This is when a fan of a particular book, rewrites the ending of it. Sounds easy enough right?

Well, the point of our contest is that you have to come up with the most elaborate, most unlikely ending…but somehow with your writing make it seem believable. A hint to doing this is to keep the dialogue or the actions of the characters authentic to those in the original book, but yet tactfully change the plot and bring about events that would justify an out-of-character action.

Who/When can submit?

Anyone! Since our first year, we have decided to open up the contest to not only our students, but everyone. Important date to keep in mind is March 31 when all entries are due via our email zaimitutoring@gmail.com!

What are the prizes?

We will be giving away an iPad and a Kindle e-reader to the top two entries.

When will I know if I won?

All entries will be reviewed by the Zaimi Tutoring staff.

Good Luck!

Meet two of our top tutors…Lily & Kate
